Aggressive behaviour is part of normal Rust gameplay.
Toxic behaviour is when someone's actions start to impact the entire server and disrespect everyone.
A perfect example of this would be spamming chat.
Be respectful.
While it is easier to say hurtful or disrespectful things without being face to face with someone, it is important to remember that these are real people and they are affected by the words you say and write.
Be aware of strong language, all boundaries, and exclamation marks. It is easy for written texts to be misread and misunderstood. Have you ever sent a text message with good intentions, but your recipient thought you were being rude? If so, then you've experienced this first-hand. By knowing strong language, you can identify potential confusion before you send messages.
Be careful with humour and sarcasm. You certainly shouldn't avoid being funny. We love to see your personality shine through. We are all exceptionally funny. But, as mentioned above, make sure you're being funny and not being rude. Emotes and smiles can be helpful in showing a sense of humour or sarcasm in your posts / comments.
